COLARUSSO, Cosmo - March 13, 1935 - April 25, 2018
With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Cosmo Colarusso in his 83rd year, on April 25, 2018, surrounded by his family.
He was born March 13, 1935 in Isernia, Italy.
On October 24, 1959, he married Rosina Succi, born in Castelpizzuto, Italy.
Cosmo, a longstanding member of the Ironworkers Union Local 721, took great pride in his work achievements on buildings throughout southern Ontario.
Cosmo is survived by his loving wife, Rosina, of 59 years.
He will be fondly missed by his five children and their families: Nick and Lilla Colarusso (Christopher, Robert, and Jennifer); Luisa and former spouse Ray Sauvé (Paul and Jessica); Dana and Peter de Mello (Frank and Leo); Nadia and Albino Chiodo (David and Sarah); and Caterina and Kevin Woods (Aidenne). He will be remembered for his social charm, storytelling, and passion for bocce, dancing, music and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Funeral service: Thursday, May 3rd at 10 a.m. at St. David's Parish in Maple, ON (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr. W., Maple, ON). Visitation: DeMarco Funeral Home (8003 Weston Rd., Woodbridge, ON) on Tuesday, May 1st (6-9 p.m.) and Wednesday, May 2nd (2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.).
