MATTHEWS, Winifred Ivy (nee BARLETT) - January 5, 1915 - June 12, 2018
After a short illness at Eatonville Care Centre in Etobicoke.
Predeceased by her beloved husband John Matthews and her five brothers: Fred, Archie, Rob, Ivan and Bernard.
Devoted mother of Clive (Marianne), Brian (Sandra), Gail (Bob), Bruce (MJ) and loving grandmother of Gillian (Matt), Chris (Neale), John (Ruth), Rob (Michelle), Colin (Claire), Krystina (Shane), David (Amanda), Chelsey and Greg (Sarah). She will also be fondly remembered by her thirteen great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Church, 2305 Bloor Street West on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a reception at the funeral home. Private interment.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Health Centre, or to the charity of your choice.
