Toccalino JeannetteTOCCALINO, Jeanette  - March 4, 1925 - June 12, 2018

It is with broken hearts that the family of Jeanette Toccalino (nee Carpeneto) announce her peaceful passing on the morning of June 12, 2018.

She follows her late husband of over 68 years, Carlo, who passed days earlier on June 4, 2018.

Jeanette was a pillar of love, compassion, strength and faith for her family.

She was a selfless and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She nurtured all of her children with loving care and devotion. Jeanette filled their family home with warmth, tenderness and love. She gave of herself without reservation and did not rest until her entire family were well fed and cared for.

Jeanette will be greatly missed but her family takes great comfort in knowing that she and her beloved husband Carlo are together again. Jeanette is survived by her five children: David (Monica), Anthony (Virginia), Carlo (Rodney), Mary Demarte (Bill) and Michael (Debra), grandchildren Adam, Allison, James, Peter, Angela, Zach, Sarah, Jessica, Ian, Madison, Jake, Danielle and Lauren and great-grandchildren David, Joseph, Ivory, Roman, Memphis, Freya, Ferris, Gio, Manuel, Claire and Alexander. Jeanette was predeceased by her brother Dr. Dario Carpeneto.

She will also be missed by a large and loving extended family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, Milton.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 19th at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church (139 Martin Street, Milton).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Sleeping Children around the World are greatly appreciated.

The song of the birds for mirth
One is nearer God's heart in a garden
Than anywhere else on Earth"
