NORTON, Gordon F.R.  (P. Eng),   -  Peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre Residence in his 94th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Charlotte and his brothers Robert and Stan.

Loving father and father-in-law of Catharine (Timothy Hann), Chris (Noelle) and Paul. He leaves cherished memories as "Pops" for his grandchildren, Patrick (Kristy), Doug, Carolyn (John Critchley), Cole, Blaire and Greer.

Pops will be dearly missed by his great-grandchildren Jaxon, Taylor, Summer and Brodie.

Growing up on the Toronto Islands shaped his lifelong love of sailing. Devoted friend, former Olympian and past Commodore of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the entire staff at Sunnybrook with special mention of the exceptional care provided by Carlene, Andrew, Diane and Alvin and also by PSW Modupe.

Friends may call at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, Toronto, from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
