PHILPOTT, N. June (nee Fitton) - June 13, 1928 - June 20, 2018 - In loving memory of June Philpott (nee Fitton) who passed away peacefully, in Collingwood, on Wednesday. June 20, 2018 at age 90.
June rejoins her beloved, late husband Jim (1928 - 2005).
June and Jim are both lovingly remembered by their children Ron Philpott (Sharon), Debbie Gibson (Jim) and Valerie Bowerman (Kevin) and grandchildren Jackie, Brittany (Alek), Carissa (Mark) and Cassandra (Isaac).
June will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends.
June was the youngest of 8 children born on a dairy farm in Arkell, Ontario and remained a country girl at heart. She and Jim married in 1954 and lived together in Arkell, Guelph and Orangeville. Very recently June moved to Collingwood to be near her family.
June and Jim particularly enjoyed small town dances, camping, church suppers, drive-in movies and scenic drives in the country-side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, Orangeville on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with Visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Westminster United Church, Orangeville would be graciously appreciated.
