De La MAZA, Franciso Antonio (PACO)  - Unexpectedly, but peacefully at his home on June 19, 2018 at the age of 74.

Born in Havana, Cuba to Antonio De La Maza and Ana Emila Perkovich.

Beloved husband of Dr. Merle A. Jacobs, Professor at York University.

Loving father of Katherine Baker (Kevin) and Antonio.

Dear brother of Teresita and Tania De La Maza. Sadly missed by nephew Juan Antonio, nieces Tania, Cecilia, Nicole, brothers-in-law Patrick Johns (Colleen), Richard Jacobs (Odi) and their families.

He will be lovingly remembered by his very close friends. Francisco previously worked for Coca-Cola, Pepsi Cola and Cadbury International for the regions of Caribbean and Latin America, before starting his own company Discovery 2000; distributing his signature wine Chantelle in Miami, Florida. Paco was a gifted artist, pianist and an Olympic Fencer.

Special thank you to Dr. Colin Baxter for his loving care.

A funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., on Friday, June 29th at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10 a.m.  It was Francisco's wish that in lieu of flowers, please donate to any children's charity.
