MASSARELLA, Josephine Maria - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Josephine Massarella on Friday, June 22, 2018.
For more than three decades, Josephine was an acclaimed filmmaker whose films won many international awards and continue to screen around the world.
She had a tremendous appetite for life, was fiercely passionate about her work, but her greatest and proudest achievement was her beloved son Felix.
Thank you to the many friends and family who cared for and supported her in her final months.
The family invite friends to a time of visitation on Friday, June 29th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. At the Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Hamilton, Funeral service on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
