TEASDALE, Dereth Jane (nee BELL) - Died June 11, 2018, at her home in Halifax, at the age of 75.
Loving wife to the late Abraham John (Abe) Teasdale of Orillia, ON.
Daughter to the late Rosa Jane and the late Earl Nelson Bell, Orillia, ON.
Step-mother to Stephen (SJ) Bennett Teasdale (Kevin) and Timothy Teasdale (Tamara), Ontario; sister to the late Kenneth Bell, Ontario, Ruth Bleasdale, Nova Scotia, John Bell, Alberta and the late David Bell, Ontario; friend and sister-in-law to Sharon Moxley-Bell, Fraser Bleasdale, Elizabeth Bell and Marie Bell; aunt to Aaron, Christina, Zoe, Adam, Micah, Ronnette and Shelley; great-aunt to Cassandra. Dereth was the family caregiver.
As a child she took on the responsibilities of caring for her younger siblings; later in life she cared for her husband, mother and brother David.
Dereth will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her uncomplaining courage, generosity and compassion.
A service of remembrance will be held in the fall in Orillia, Ontario.
