BUNT, Herbert Oliver - 1923 - 2018 After a short illness, peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the Toronto Western Hospital.
Herbert was predeceased by his parents, Myrtle Jane Bunt (nee Thompson), Henry A. Bunt, and his sister Audrey (Mrs. Dalton Speirs).
During WWII, Herbert spent four years in the RCAF before going on to Teachers' College and studying at Queens University, graduating in 1969.
He had a successful career teaching Art, English and History, in Windsor, Kingston and Toronto.
Being an avid collector of Canadian painting, drawings, sculptures and ceramics, Herbert has donated extensively to the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Queens University and the Burlington Art Centre.
Herbert will be missed by many of his friends and acquaintances.
According to Herbert's wishes there will be no viewing or service.
A private cremation has taken place.
