DONALDSON, Marlene (nee O'HARA) - LOVE NEVER FAILS
It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Our Mother Marlene Donaldson, beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) following her long and courageous battle with cancer.
She died as she wanted, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Throughout her 80 years, Marlene had touched many peoples' lives, all who will remember her for her positive attitude towards life.
We will miss her warm smile and kind words. She always thought of others and loved her family dearly.
She will be greatly missed by her sons Glenn (Pam), Brian (Nicola), her grandchildren Candyce, Corey, Andrew, Rachel and Kevin and great-grandchildren Owen, Mia and Sophia. Also survived by her brother Bill (Lucy) and sister-in-law Patricia as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a funeral service at Wexford Heights United Church at 2102 Lawrence Ave. E. on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018. Viewing at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with service and reception to follow.
As per her wishes, Marlene will be cremated and interred at a later date.
She has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Odette Cancer Center at Sunnybrook Hospital.
They, along with Marlene's strength and determination, helped her through these last 8 years.
