DIAMANTOUROS, Artemis  - March 30, 1974 - June 27, 2018

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Artemis Diamantouros, a bright light in the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.

Artemis passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Toronto Western Hospital surrounded by her family.

She leaves behind her beloved husband John, her beautiful children (Christopher and Eleni) and her beloved parents (George and Helen). Cherished by her dear sister Penny (Themi), nieces (Alia and Evie), sister-in-law Andrea (Edward) and nephew (Adam). Artemis will be sadly missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, cherished friends and colleagues.

Throughout her life, she took on many roles as a mother, daughter, wife, sister, cousin, aunt, friend and mentor and in each role her bright smile, infectious humour and generous and giving spirit touched the lives of all who loved her.

Artemis gave with all her heart and saw the good in everyone. She was selfless in all her actions and ensured that those around her knew that they could always count on her. She will be greatly missed by everyone and those cherished memories will live on eternally.

The family is especially grateful to all of the staff in the MSNICU at Toronto Western Hospital for their continued compassion and effort in her care.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the SickKids Foundation.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Elgin Mills Funerl Centre, Richmond Hill, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Saint Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church (11323 Warden Avenue, Markham) followed by interment.
