CHALMERS, Adam Williamson  - Passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital on July 2, 2018 in Fort Erie, Ontario after a challenging illness at the age of 80.

Adam is preceded in death by his parents (Adam and Mary) and brother Jim.

Adam is survived by loving wife Sandra Chalmers (nee Carson), son Adam (Christie) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, daughter Laura Bales (Mark) of Brampton, Ontario and his four grandchildren: Adam, Cynthia, McKina and Spencer.

He will also be deeply missed by his many family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home "Brampton" Chapel, 289 Main Street North on Sunday, July 8, 2018 between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. A Celebration of Adam's life will be held the Chapel on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Cathie Ellarby will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend. Reception to follow.

Adam was born on October 27, 1937 in Willowdale, Ontario, grew up in Keswick, Ontario along the shores of Lake Simcoe and moved to Toronto, Ontario where he worked for the Toronto Metropolitan Police Force for 38 years.

Adam met Sandra while they both worked at Toronto Metropolitan Police Force and they married on May 21, 1960. He will forever be in our hearts and memories.

The family greatly appreciates the care provided by the hospital staff and Dr. Kim Scher.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Adam's memory can be made to the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.
