SWEDLO, Ryan James  - Ryan died unexpectedly at home on June 29, 2018 in Toronto, ON at the age of 27.

Ryan is survived by his mother Donna Swedlo (nee Miller) of Toronto, ON; grandmothers Beverley Miller of Toronto, ON and Anielka "Elsie" Swedlo of Newmarket, ON; step-great-grandmother Glen McCarther of Oshawa, ON; aunt Janet Butcher (Ray) of Newmarket, ON; uncles Doug Miller (Jenny) of Thornhill, ON, Earl Swedlo (Brenda) of Brooklin, ON and Daniel Swedlo (Carol) of Owen Sound, ON; great-aunt Lorraine Girouard of London, ON; cousins Tom, Chris and Kelly Girouard and others.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Swedlo of Newmarket, ON; grandfathers James Miller of Toronto, ON and Steve Swedlo of Newmarket, ON; great-grandfather Cyril McCarther of Ajax, ON; and uncle Stephen Swedlo of Newmarket, ON.

Ryan was born on March 10, 1991 in Toronto, ON. He graduated from Durham College in 2013 with a diploma in Internet Applications and Web Development.

Ryan was employed by Food Basics for 9 years and held the position of Assistant Produce Manager.

The family will receive family and friends at the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, Toronto, ON, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 5th. The service will be held at Parkwoods United Church, 85 Parkwoods Village Dr., Toronto, ON, on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. S

Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Toronto Humane Society would be greatly appreciated, in lieu of flowers.
