HARADA, Yoshiko Mary (YO)  - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister, Yo (Mary) Harada (nee Nagasuye).

After many challenging years suffering with dementia, Yo died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the age of 95.

Predeceased by her husband, Bus and daughter, Beverly, Yo is survived by her grandson, Chris Hoganson and her brothers, Dave Nagasuye and Joe (Ruby) Nagasuye.

The family wishes to thank Momiji Seniors Residence, a true sanctuary for the Japanese Canadian community, for accommodating Yo during the final years of her life.

Deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to all the staff at Momiji, Dr. Mark DeSousa and to Yo's team of personal support workers, Ellen Bautista, Evelyn Tampan, Vivien Laurencio and Marites (Tess) Prado.

These four kind, good natured and dedicated individuals became Yo's true family and we thank them for their many years of loving and compassionate care and friendship.

Visitation on Sunday, July 8th at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue,) beginning at 10:00 a.m. Service follows promptly at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers or koden, memorial donations to Momiji Health Care Society would be appreciated.
