ELLIOTT, Nora Marion "Min" (nee JARRETT)  - Min Elliott, 86, loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Predeceased by her loving husband John, they shared in the joy of 5 children, Liz "Beth", Barb, Tom, Rob and Peter, their spouses, 16 grandchildren and 4¾ great-grandchildren.

Min was predeceased by older siblings Betty and Al and is survived by brother Doug.

Min was a passionate teacher, volunteer, role model and mentor who excelled at everything she put her mind to. Lifelong friendships were forged at Mimico High School, Queen's University, The Church of the Kettles, The Kettles Association, Muskadasa Tennis Club, Beaver Valley Ski Club, Mississauga Synchronized Swimming Club and Raglan Village.

Min was active well into her 80s, with daily swims at the cottage (which she did for 80+ years), hosting legendary multigenerational saunas, playing tennis, travelling extensively (including a dip in the Arctic Ocean at age 80) and teaching skiing (to a group of grandparents younger than herself).

She was exceedingly proud of her family and will be deeply missed. We will cherish the memory of Min's wonderful smile, welcoming nature, determination and strength of character.

In an act of true love and gratitude for all she had given us, the family banded together and enabled Min to spend the final phase of her life at her beloved Muskoka cottage where she peacefully slipped away on Thursday, June 28, 2018.

Many thanks to the amazing professionals in Collingwood, Midland, Barrie and Muskoka who supported her in her recent illness.

A memorial service will be held at The Church of the Kettles this summer; details will be posted on the Reynolds Funeral Home website.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Church of the Kettles or the charity of your choice is appreciated.
