PATERSON, Gwendoline Margaret (Gwenda) (nee FYFE) - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gwenda after a fierce four year battle with cancer, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at North York General Hospital with her daughter CJ Mesenchuk (nee Paterson) by her side.
She survived to enjoy the birth and first years of her grandchildren Robert (aged 3) and Elizabeth (aged 1).
Loving sister of Marilyn Wiebe and remembered by her son-in-law Chris Mesenchuk, niece Michelle Williams (Matt) and nephew Richard Wiebe (Michelle).
Gwenda was an accomplished accountant who will be sadly missed by her staff, clients, family and friends both for her stellar work and her considerable baking skills.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her funeral on Thursday, July 12th at Jubilee United Church. Visitation is at 12 p.m., service at 1 p.m. Jubilee United Church, 40 Underhill Dr., North York, ON M3A 2J5, 416-447-6846.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Jubilee United Church and Wheels of Hope.
