DUGGAN, Rita - Our beautiful Rita passed away peacefully on July 7, 2018, at the Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Born in Montreal on February 9, 1936 to Thomas and Jessica Lang, Rita lived in Québec until she married the late Jack Duggan in 1974 and moved to Ontario with her children, Cynthia and Michael (deceased).
She became a loving step-mom for Elizabeth, David, Patricia and Gordon; Grandma/Nan to Matthew (deceased), Miranda, Portia, Christopher, Kathleen, Natasha, Ashleigh, Kristin, Alexander, Nicholas, Dean, Katherine, Jeremy, Ethan and Kyle; great-grandma to Caitlin, Madeleine, Isaac, Elliot, Holly, Veronica, Austen, Mackenzie, Emily, Claire, Liam and Rhys.
Rita was the treasured sister of Eleanor, Ethel, John, Paul, Earl, George, Thomas, Francis and Norman.
A celebration of life will be held at the Stouffville United Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018.
