Anderson IrmaANDERSON, Irma  - It is with much sadness, that we announce the passing of Irma Anderson (nee Regehr) on July 17, 2018.

Predeceased by her husband, Lester.

A beloved mother to Amy, Sharon (John), Dale (Elizabeth), Melody (Kevin) and Robert; a loving grandmother to Paito, Moselle, Avvah, Ben and Abel Anderson; Caroline, Maddy and Alli Piccininni and Evelyn van Andel; a doting great-grandmother to Spencer, Dexter and Sawyer.

Irma is survived by her brother, Dan and sister Susie Regehr, predeceased by her sister, Hannah. Irma lived to see her 87th birthday, which she recently celebrated, surrounded by many family members.

Irma's smile and gentle personality would light up a room. Never complaining and always with a kind word for everyone, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Irma fell in love in bible college and moved to Jamaica to marry Lester and raise her family.

After 17 years in Jamaica, the family moved to St. Catharines, Ontario where she lived for 41 years. When she became a widow, she moved to Windsor to be close to family, which was always the highest priority for this strong and resourceful woman. She was in no doubt welcomed at heaven's gate.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, July 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow.

In memory of Irma, memorial donations may be made to Heritage Park Alliance Church - Love Your Neighbour Program.
