De ROBERTIS, Cosmo - The family of Cosmo De Robertis mourns his passing with thanks for his long life.
Our loving husband, father and grandfather died in hospital July 16, 2018, just weeks before his 93rd birthday.
On July 1st, he and his wife, Maria celebrated 68 years of marriage.
Cosmo also leaves son Michael De Robertis (Pat Parisi) and grandsons Peter and Mark of Toronto; daughter Roma De Robertis of Saint John, NB; his sister Mary Troisi of Toms River, NJ, as well as several nieces and nephews in the United States. Originally from Hoboken, NJ, Cosmo served in the US Navy and Army.
Stationed in Germany after the war, he met and married the love of his life, Maria De Robertis (nee Erdt). Coming to Canada, they created a home for their family in Scarborough.
Gratefully, we celebrate Cosmo's lasting presence in our hearts and memories.
Special thanks to his medical team at North York General Hospital and staff of Extendicare Bayview. There will be a private memorial with family. Those wishing to make a donation may choose The Scott Mission or Salvation Army.
