WOODROW, Barbara Ethlyn (nee BRETHOUR)  - March 5, 1921 - July 22, 2018

Peacefully at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton, ON.

Daughter of the late Vivian and Eldon Brethour, sister of the late Lois Barden and wife of the late Donald Woodrow.

Beloved mother of Timothy Eldon (Barbara), Julia Ann (David Keeling), Donald Alan (Vivian) and the late Paul James.

Devoted Grandmother to Stephen (Jenni), Michael and Kathryn Woodrow, Simon (Miche), Jeremy, Nicholas and Rachel (Steven) Keeling, Jonathan (Elisa), Alexander and Julia Woodrow and David Jones.

Barbara also leaves 9 great-grandchildren.

Barbara inherited a strong music education legacy, teaching music for the Toronto Board of Education, conducting choirs and giving private voice lessons. She sang in The Toronto Mendelssohn and Grace Church on-the-Hill choirs.

She was president of the Davisville Junior Public School Parents' Association and the voice of the Kiwanis Music Festival at Eaton Auditorium.

She was a keen bridge player, especially enjoying the regular Clareville Crescent gatherings.

Also an avid reader and skilled cryptic crossword puzzle solver.

Funeral and interment of ashes at St. James-the-Less Crematorium, Toronto, on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation in the narthex from 9:30 a.m.
