MASON, Carrie Faye - Born October 1, 1964 in Ottawa, Ontario
On July 27, 2018 after a heroic and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Carrie passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Carrie was predeceased by her father Morley Mason (Cathy) and her brother Warren Mason.
Carrie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Rebecca and Adam; mother Marcia Kardash, brothers Andrew and Keith (Danielle Chopik), sister-in-law Tammy Beamish (Mark Johnston); Adam and Rebecca's father Gord Mossop (Dona Roberts) and grandparents Perce and Lorna Mossop; along with Carrie's many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and step-siblings.
Close friend Paula Toye, as well as friend and business partner Jim Emanoilidis will dearly miss her.
The service is on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at The Jewish Community Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue, Ottawa.
The burial will follow at the Jewish Memorial Gardens 2692 Bank Street, Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, Carrie's wishes were for donations to The Gastrointestinal Cancer Research Fund at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (thepmcf.ca) or agencies that provide support to cancer care patients and their families.
