CORMIER, Gertrude Mary (nee Finn) – Peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 85.
Gertrude, beloved wife of the late Yvon Cormier.
Much loved mother of Judy and her husband Steve Wilson, Paul Cormier (Darlene), Joanne Cormier (Chris Piercey), the late Roseanne Cormier, the late Mary Cormier and the late Yvon Cormier Jr.
Proud grandma of Darryl (Jamie), Miranda (Scott), Kyle (Erin), Tyler and Cody and 5 more grandchildren and GG of Brooklyn, Destinee, Liberty, Isabella, Gabriella, and 11 more great grandchildren. Dear sister of 6.
Gertrude will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family and many dear friends.
Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday September 10th from 10am until service time at 11am. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
