PRYMOK, John - With sadness and regret, we announce that John passed away at home in Ajax with loved ones by him on the morning of December 28, 2022.
Gregarious and tall, John was easy to spot from afar, and gentle and inquiring to speak to up close.
Born in Toronto, and growing up in the West Hill neighbourhood of Scarborough during the time of Roadrunner cars, psychedelic rock and wide jeans, John lived a life of strong ties to his family, friends, and community.
The talents he was given naturally were honed in his 35-year career as a supervisor for Guild Electric, completing projects that ranged from Pearson airport and Casino Rama, to the restoration of the Winter Garden Theatre.
To know John was to know how he never took family for granted. He was always present, available and willing to give his time and effort to his daughters and grandchildren regardless of the sacrifice or circumstances.
His light will be missed by his surviving wife Donna, daughters Sarah (Mike), and Andrea (Alex) and grandchildren Kaylin, Gavin, Audrey and Amelia. His sister Marg and extended family, friends and untold numbers of others who felt the warmth of his presence and the feeling of friendship he offered always. Rest in peace, John.
Services will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home (Whitby, ON) on Saturday January 14th, 2023 at 11:00.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to SHN Cardiac Amyloidosis Clinic, in John’s honour .
