CRICHTON, Fiona Crichton  -  It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Fiona Crichton at Oak Ridges Hospice on Friday April 14th.

She had been watched over by all her close family members, her parents, John and Kath, her brothers, David and Scott, along with her sister-in-law Sue, her daughters, Caitlyn and Laurel, with their partners Robbie and Stephen, her grandchildren, Lucas and Isla, as well as many friends.

She was brave and strong, and never stopped fighting. She never let her battle with cancer stop her from living and enjoying her life.

She gave Caitlyn and Laurel the best childhood filled with love, laughter, and kindness. To her, family was everything, but family was never limited to blood, her door was always open (literally!).

We are all heartbroken that we must carry on without her. Thankfully, she's raised some good kids, inherited great sons, and was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren. Her spirit will live on through us all.

She was loved and will be missed by us all including her aunts, uncles, and cousins in the U.K. and Ontario, the Fawns Point community on Eagle Lake, and those who knew her in the Uxbridge area.

There will be a celebration of her life on Thursday, May 4th at 12pm at St Paul’s Leaskdale Church at 12251 Regional Road #1, Leaskdale, ON L0C 1C0.

We ask that you wear anything but black, as we’d like to remember the happy times, and the joy that she brought to us all.

Donations to honour her memory may be sent online to Oak Ridges Hospice or to a cancer charity of your choice.”
