SKITCH, Robert Frederick - Peacefully at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry on Monday, October 16th, 2023.
Robert, in his 97th year, passed away.
Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Doreen Libby.
Loving father of Linda (Gary) Lopak of Oshawa, Robert (Donna) Skitch of Oshawa, Gwen (Neil) Devitt of Oshawa, Janice (Mitchell) Spooner of Courtice and Ken (Debbie) Skitch of Trenton.
Dear grandfather of Gary (Heather), Vanessa (Marek), Vickie (Colin), Ashley, Greg (Tonya), Jennifer (Wade), Michael (Pam), Cheryl (Ryan), Kevin (Sarah), Rebecca, Kristyn (Nick). Great-grandfather of Mamoona, Zenya, Whitney, Reid, Levi, Everley, Brandon (Kayla), Hope, Cassandra, Isabel, Adrian, Caleb and Elyse.
Predeceased by his late brothers Donald (Lois) and Ross (Dorothy) and late sister Margaret (Lewis) Trull. Will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Robert was the proud owner/operator of Bob Skitch Garage in Oshawa as well as retired employee from General Motors after 25 years of service.
Relatives and friends are invited to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Monday, October 23rd, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the service time in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery.
