DANSON, Paul Robert “Dadeo” Dadson -

September 20, 1963 – February 19, 2024

"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us everyday."

After a brief yet courageous battle with cancer, Paul passed away surrounded by his loving family at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Loving husband of Penny Vanson.

Adoring dad to Taylor Dadson (Mike), Brendon Dadson, Tyrone Vanson (Elysha) and Taylor Vanson (Jessica).

Cherished Paul-Paul to Adaline and Makinleigh and Grandpa to Willow. Much loved son of Ted and the late Sheila Dadson and loving brother to Cathy Dadson.

Dear son-in-law of Carol Nicholl. Paul was born and raised in Bowmanville, Ontario. He was fortunate enough to retire early and enjoy life. The things that brought Paul great joy in life were his happy place in cottage country, campfires, road trips and little getaways, music, and family - especially his granddaughters and grand-fur babies. He loved all sports with his favourites being baseball, golf, hockey, fishing, and kayaking.

Paul was fortunate to have many devoted friends within the community, some being through Goodyear, the Legion, his golf league, and his Stormy Lake friends.

A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held Saturday, April 6th, 2024, from 2 p.m., - 6 p.m. at the Bowmanville Legion - upstairs.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital or Royal Canadian Legion Branch 178 Poppy Fund .
