SMITH, Kathleen “Sherry” (nee SHERLOCK) Smith   -  Passed away with loved ones by her side at Ajax-Pickering Hospital on February 26, 2024 after a brief but brave battle with cancer.

Sherry is reunited with her beloved husband, the late Alistair Smith.

She is deeply missed by her children, Lesley-Ann (Mark) and Scott (Wendy). Loving Gran/Grandma to Kristen, Quinten, and Ainsley.

Predeceased by her parents William and Isabelle, sisters Nancy and Isobel, and brother Thomas (Sonny).

Sherry was born in Glasgow, Scotland before moving to “the village” in Don Mills with her husband and two children in 1974.

She will be missed tremendously by her many friends and chosen family from the village, friends and neighbours in Pickering, family in New Brunswick, friends from her time working at Janssen-Ortho, as well as her nieces and nephews throughout Scotland, England, and Australia.

Our wee lassie is now pain free, undoubtedly having a sing song with her parents, siblings, nephew and niece, and friends and family who have gone before her.

Visitation on Saturday, March 2nd at 3pm followed by a Funeral Service at 4pm at McEachnie Funeral Home, Pickering Village (Ajax). Reception to follow.
