Clayton ElizabethCLAYTON, Elizabeth  -

After a life well lived, and independent to the end, our beloved mother, Elizabeth Clayton, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.

She was the cherished wife of Stanley Clayton, who predeceased her in January 2000.

Mum leaves two sisters: Ann Chisnall in South Africa and Mary Heyes of Whitby.

She was predeceased by her brother Billy Fallon.

Daughters Melanie MacLeod (Cheryl Cotter) and Amanda Peckover (Marv Wrightly) have been the recipients of unconditional love throughout their entire lives.

Granddaughters Christina Smith and Amanda Smith-Knox and grandsons Matthew Smith (Sherrilyn Poirier) of Keene and Adam Smith (Michelle) of Windsor have a lifetime of wonderful memories of their Nana and Grumps.

Great- grandson Bradly Smith and great-granddaughters Jadea Tompkins and Dakoda Tompkins, (all of the Kingston area) were a great source of joy to their Nana.

In recent years, she was happy to welcome Madilynn Ryan to the family.

The icing on the cake was the arrival of two great-great grandchildren, Journee and Oakley.

Mom considered herself rich in friends and faith.

Her celebration of life service will be held at Kingsview United Church on Saturday, April 13 at 2 p.m. The family hope you can join us for the service.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service and at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Friday, April 12 from 6-8 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church. Private cremation to follow at a later date.

Should you so wish, donations are requested to Campbellford Memorial Hospital or Kingsview United Church.
