      Ontario Junior Hockey League, Whitby Fury Junior A Hockey Club, in conjunction with Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, invite the community to sign a guestbook of condolence at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby in memory of the players and team personnel who lost their lives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

    The book will be available daily from  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. until Monday, April 23rd, at which time the book will be sent to the OJHL offices to be sent to the team in Saskatchewan

Hockey sticks will be donated to support minor hockey in our community.

Peacefully with family by his side on Monday, April 9, 2018 in his 87th year.

Beloved husband of Ana for almost 60 years.

Loving father of Roger Bernardes and his wife Kathy Mantas and Jose and his wife Melanie Bernardes.

Devoted Avo-Papoose to Lindsay, Ryan, Seraphina, the late Angelo, and Graham.

Dear brother of Amelia Bernardes, Raquel Simoes, the late Custodio Bernardo and the late Santa Bernardes.
