CALCE, Teresa - La nostra cara Mamma Teresa. Forever in our hearts... it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Teresa Calce on May 29, 2021 at the age of 70.
Teresa was born on October 3rd, 1950 in Cieglie Del Campo, Bari, Italy.
She will be forever missed by her husband Guido. Cherished by her dear children, Dialda, Luigi (Milena), Mario (Sarah) and Nadia (Carlo). Adored Nonna to her grandchildren Gianni, Settimio, Maximo, Isabella, Giancarlo, Matteo, Nicolas and Tessa.

CHRISTO, Mary (nee ARGIROPOULOS) - 1920 - 2021 Passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021 at the age of 101.
Mary was a devoted and beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Predeceased by husband Kiro (1978) and daughter Virginia (2006).
She will be forever missed by her loving son Chris (Linda) and son-in-law James Nicolaou, her grandchildren Cassandra (Arland), Paul (Cindy), Mara (Stephen), Sabrina and Caitlynn, and her great-grandchildren Corson, Mary, Carter, Virginia, Beatrice and Florence.
Born in Oschima, Greece, Mary was one of eight children.

RABER, Freda - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Freda Raber (nee Schiller) in her 92nd year, on May 29, 2021, at her home in Toronto, with her family by her side.
Freda was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Raber (2009) of Winnipeg.
Freda will be missed, but lives on in each of her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

KEGEL, Hendrik Willem "BILL" - On May 29, 2021, Hendrik Willem "Bill" Kegel, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to be with the Lord at the age of 87.
Bill was born on November 20, 1933 in Berkel en Rodenrijs, Holland.
At a young age, Bill was touched by the kindness of Canadian soldiers during WWII and this influenced his decision to come to Canada at the age of 18.
He began working for Sheridan Nurseries in Toronto and did so until he and his young family moved to Orangeville.
He and his wife built Dufferin Garden Centre in 1974 and resided there until after their three girls were married.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mae Lois McMillan, on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Sterling Heights Long Term Care Home in Cambridge, Ontario.
She will be deeply missed by her two loving daughters, Deborah and Beverly and her cherished granddaughter Shannon along with her loving brother Keith Whorley (Carol), loving sister Thelma McGrath (Nat) and loving sister Linda Falcone (Mike) and her many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins.

MITCHELL, Alban Andrew “Waist” - Passed away on May 29, 2021 at the age of 84.
He is now reunited with his son Godwin, his parents Filinton and Maggie, his brothers and sisters Vivian, Carleton, Elsa, Helen, Agnes, Vanita, Vincent, Sheila, and Lucille.
He is survived by his sisters Janet Penny (Gregory), and Jean Thomas.
Alban will be dearly missed by all his family, relatives, and friends.

CHORNOPYSKI, Wolodymyra 'Julia' - It is with heartfelt loss that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest mama, Wolodymyra on May 29, 2021 at her home of 62 years.
Wolodymyra was born on June 8, 1934 in the city of Jaroslaw, Halychyna, to parents of Wolodymyr Andrahewych and Stefania Leheonska.
Wolodymyra was the 3rd eldest of seven children.
Wolodymyra graduated from the Conservatory of Music in Jaroslaw, majoring in violin, where she enjoyed performing in the symphony orchestra, and enriching her life through faith and culture.

KOWALIW, Andreas Johannes - Passed away on May 29, 2021.
He was born on June 8, 1945 in Klosterneuburg, a suburb of Vienna, Austria – the third son of Ivan Kowaliw and Oksana Yulia (Domanyk) Kowaliw.
Andreas emigrated from Austria to Canada in 1948 with his parents and brothers Ihor and Orest.
Andriy explored life through music, mathematics, sports and a dash of joie-de-vivre.
His 34 ft sailboat was his passion, he raced in tournaments and sailed the East Coast to the Bahamas. He was also an accomplished cellist.

YANG, Dou Chieh - Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
Dou Chieh is survived by his loving wife Mei-Chih, cherished sons Li-Chung and Li-Jen and proud grandchildren Daniel and Julianna.
Dou Chieh was a World War II veteran and proudly served his country.
In his career in TV media, he was the producer of several popular TV dramas and documentaries in Taiwan.

She will be greatly missed by her children Mary Theresa, Peter (Jo-Anne) and Linda (Bill deceased) Leeds.
Proud Nonna to Michael (Erin), Christopher, Jonathon (Laurel), Julia and great-grandchildren Avery, Lincoln and Isabella. Julia also will be missed by her niece and nephews.

HODGKINSON, William Murray - Murray Hodgkinson, born December 20, 1936, in Aurora, Ontario, Canada, of Sun City Center (Kings Point Center community), Florida and former longtime resident of Southampton, Guelph, London, and Aurora, Ontario, as well as Beaver, Pennsylvania, has passed away in his 85th year, on May 29, 2021.
He was predeceased by his parents Bob and Maude, brother John, wives Patricia and Joyce, and stepson Paul (Donna).
Murray is survived by his sister Jane, brothers Peter (Shirley) and George (Helgard), wife Claire Manley, daughter Victoria, sons Mark (Anne) and Wesley, stepdaughters Corrine (Jim) and Lynne, stepson Michael, 12 nieces and nephews.
Poppa is immensely proud of his 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
There are many extended family members and friends across the continent who will also miss him.

Merry grew up in Chatham, Ontario and spent much of her adult life in Toronto, Ontario. Merry's forceful yet cheerful personality, radiant smile, bright red lipstick and thoughtful jesters will always be remembered.

BRIGGS, Anne Mckenzie - Anne (43) passed away on May 28, 2021 at Southlake Hospital after a hard fought battle with Covid-19.
She was the beloved daughter of John and Sandra Briggs, sister of Jordan Briggs, niece of Barbara Daignault (Maurice, deceased), Sue and Bill Hardy and Scott and Judy Pinckney.
She also leaves two generations of cousins in both Canada and the USA.
Anne was a respected and well-loved Early Childhood Educator. She was devoted to her work and loved the children entrusted to her care.

HARE, Stephen Charles - (1952 - 2021) - Stephen Charles Hare passed away at Credit Valley Hospital on May 28, 2021, following a short battle with cancer at the age of 68.
Steve will be deeply missed by his family, wife Pat and their two sons, Alan and Kevin, daughter-in-laws Jena and Claire, and four grandchildren, Abigail, Jeremy, Cameron and Liam. He will be missed by his sister Cathryn, brother-in-law Bill Adams and nieces Meghan, Shannon, Kim, Karen and extended family. Steve is predeceased by his sister Susan.
Although taken from us too soon, Steve had a happy life with family, friends and work. Following more than 40 years with the Peel District School Board, Steve retired as a highly respected manager of Planning & Enrolment in 2013.
