Briggs AnneBRIGGS, Anne Mckenzie - Anne (43) passed away on May 28, 2021 at Southlake Hospital after a hard fought battle with Covid-19.

She was the beloved daughter of John and Sandra Briggs, sister of Jordan Briggs, niece of Barbara Daignault (Maurice, deceased), Sue and Bill Hardy and Scott and Judy Pinckney.

She also leaves two generations of cousins in both Canada and the USA.

Anne was a respected and well-loved Early Childhood Educator. She was devoted to her work and loved the children entrusted to her care.

She was also a lifelong artisan, and her most recent creations were tutus and accessories for her friends' and cousins' children. Anne also loved to dance and practice some martial arts. She made many close friends while pursuing these pathways to physical fitness.

Anne was loyal to her family and friends, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand. She was an angel, and she will be greatly missed.

A private family prayer service was held. Following cremation, a burial service, date of which to be announced, will be conducted. Arrangements entrusted with Thompson funeral home, Aurora.

A Celebration of Anne's Life will be held later this summer.

The family also asks that you consider a donation to the Humanitarian Coalition, in lieu of flowers, to help ease the horrible suffering that this disease has caused.
