RAMOS, Daniel David Ferdinand - With the heaviest of hearts, we are sad to share that our beloved Daniel lost his hard-fought battle with cancer on September 8, 2021.
A man of his word, he vowed to keep fighting.
And that is what he did until he passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at their home in Scarborough.
We could always count on Daniel Ramos to be there for us. Every moment – big or small, good or bad, near or far. He showed up with the warmest smile, kindest heart, and a genuine thankfulness for the time he was spending with us.

SHERWIN, Kevin Wallis - 1962 - 2021 With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Kevin Sherwin at the age of 58.
Loving and devoted son to his mother, Carol, his brother Darryl (Glenn Stalker), and aunts Anita McDonald (Clinton), Winnifred McQueeny (John), Wendy Seta (Louie), uncle Bill Marshall (Heather) and cousins.
Predeceased by his father, Wallis Sherwin (2019).
Kevin was born in Edmonton, Alberta.
He had a thirst for life and deep faith in God, a passion for music, travel, nature and the outdoors.
He was a dedicated individual and invested his time and energy towards family, friends and colleagues.

CUDMORE, Earl Lewis Earl - 95, of Extendicare Lakefield Long Term Care Home, died on September 8, 2021, in Lakefield, Ontario.
He was born on August 19, 1926, to Jessie and Lewis Cudmore, in Toronto, Ontario.
He married Theresa Cloué Desroches on November 23, 1946, and they had 8 children.
He worked as a Pressman for most of his life, and as a Toronto Policeman for a few years in between.
He retired at 64 from the Toronto Star newspaper.
He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

CHARTRAND, John E. - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John E. Chartrand, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
John was born in Toronto and was the son of the late Ted and Mary Chartrand.
John will be deeply missed by Karen Pfeiffer and her sons and grandchildren who provided him with such happiness over the past several years of his life.

BYRON, Mary Teresa - Mother, Grandma, and Great-Grandma, Mary (May) Byron (Riordan) passed away comfortably at Trillium Hospital at the remarkable age of 95.
Born and raised in County Cork, Ireland, she was the oldest of seven children to Mary (May) Hynes and John Riordan.
She's survived by her sisters Aileen (Lila) and Kathleen, and predeceased by her siblings Jim, Tom, John, and Pauline.
May later moved to Ontario, Canada in 1957 with her late-husband Ned and eldest daughter Anne.
May was a devoted wife to Ned Byron for 35 years before he passed in 1988 and continued to be a loving mother until her passing to her four children Anne Marie, Beth (deceased), John, and Michael.

DIAMANTOUROS, Dimitra - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Dimitra on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
Dimitra was born on March 21, 1919 in Karyes, Laconia, Greece. Known to all that loved her as yiayia or thea Dimitroula, she lived her 102 years with immense passion and a true love of life.
She cherished her role as the family matriarch and leaves behind an incredible legacy.
Dimitroula is survived by her children, Demo (Georgia), Themio (Patricia), Triandafili (George) and John (Eleni), and her grandchildren, Demetra, George (Dina), Dimitri (Dimitra), Anna (Jimmy), Demitra (Alex), Leonida and Cristina. She is also survived by her ten great grandchildren - all of whom she loved fiercely.

MILOSH, John William - It is with profound and lasting sadness that the family of John William Milosh (Mary Elspeth Lougheed Milosh, Julia Elisabeth Milosh and Michael James Milosh) announces his passing after a lengthy illness.
John was cherished by family and friends for his love of music and theatre, which brought much beauty into our lives. John spent his life dedicated to music.
As a graduate of the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto, he went on to be Head of Music at Weston Collegiate Institute, followed by York Memorial Collegiate Institute.
He was also a deeply committed member of the Trinity Chamber Ensemble and the Artemis String Quartet in Toronto for many years.

SHAFRAN, Anna Maria 'Anci' - Born 16 December 1931, Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. Died September 8, 2021 in Toronto in her 90th year.
Devoted and beloved mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and aunt.
Anci lived through the horrors of the Holocaust but survived with the help of her beloved mother, the late Serena Gross. After the war, she emigrated first to Kingston, Jamaica and then to the USA where she graduated from the University of Cincinnati.
In 1954 she married Dr. Murray Shafran and moved to Toronto where she created a loving home for their family of 4 boys.

GREEN, James Leslie - (1963 - 2021) - It is with heavy heart that we make the announcement of the passing of James Leslie Green on September 7, 2021 at his home in the Wexford residence Scarborough with his mother Roma Green and family.
James, aKa Jim Green and Jimmy Green, was the most delightful loving person, who touched so many hearts and souls with his happy peaceful presence. Born in Toronto, James is brother to Garrith Green, sister Lesley Studholme, uncle to Lia and Shane Studholme and sister in law Pat Green.
Born with Down Syndrome during a time when little was known, James survived 57 years to help pioneer and pave a way for current social acceptance and he is truly honoured for this.

CORMIER, Evelyn Louise (nee Leblanc) - On September 7th, 2021, after a joyous month of celebrating her 90 years with family and friends, Evelyn Louise (nee Leblanc) Cormier passed away peacefully at home.
She was predeceased by her husband Laurence and three of her children; Norman, Andrea and Audra.
She is survived by three of her children; Francine Giroux, Laurene (Claude) and Steven (Arbee), and four grandchildren; James, Elizabeth (Dave), Anthony and Owen.
She was an at home Mom to six of her own children and foster-mom to numerous children on their way to being adopted. Her last foster child was George who became a permanent member of her family.
