BUSTILLO, Buenaventura Jr. - Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Hospital, Ajax, ON on August 26, 2021, after a long battle with cardiovascular, renal disease, and diabetes.
Buenaventura was born in Hilongos, Leyte, Philippines on July 16, 1938 to Buenaventura Bustillo, Sr. and Lucila Suarez Bustillo.
He had three brothers and three sisters.
Buenaventura met his wife of 58 years, Concepcion Santillan Bustillo in Manila, Philippines. Married on May 4, 1963 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Church.

QUIGG, Sheila (nee FIELDING) - Sheila Mary Margaret Magdeline Maria Theresa Fielding, better known as Mom, Grandma, Toots, Auntie Sheila and Auntie Toots was born in St. Andrew's Jamaica on March 23, 1935 and came to Canada in 1953 to become a St. Michael's Nurse (Class of '57).
She was proud of her "St. Mike's" service and developed many lifelong friends with her beloved classmates.
She left the departure lounge on August 26, 2021 for a one way flight to the heavens.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Thomas (2019).
She leaves behind her children Belinda, Mark (Alaine Debono) and Elizabeth (Ellis) Holmes and her grandchildren Abigail, Michael, Emily and Rosemary, her brother-in-law Frank (Ann) as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was the youngest in her family and was predeceased by her 8 siblings. Dorothy, Helen, Charles, Richard, Clement, Edward, Joseph and John.

CHEUNG, May Yuk Mui - It is with great sadness that the family of May Yuk Mui Cheung, shares news of her peaceful passing on August 26, 2021 at age 85.

Pietro is survived by his loving wife Serafina. His two daughters Maria and Angela. Pietro has two son in laws, David and Shane.
Grandchildren Nicholas, Andrew and Talon. And great grandchild Natalie, parents Nicholas and Klara.
Pietro was born in Palese, a neighborhood in Bari Italy.

SMALL, Marcella “Stella” - After a long life of looking after her beloved family, our dear mother Marcella “Stella” of Keswick, passed into the arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Sunrise Retirement Home Aurora.
Missing her is her son Stephen (Leona), grandsons Michael (Jenny) Daniel (Kaitlyn), great-grandsons Michael and Matthew; waiting to see her again, her daughter Jennifer (Dale Baker), grandsons Jonathan, Jeremy and Joshua.
Survived by their son Philip (Teresa) and their children, Mikaela and Adam.
Mom is reunited with her husband, our dad Noel Cecil Small.

LEE, Kristine Mary 'Kris' - Passed away with her family by her side on August 25, 2021 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Kris made the courageous and difficult decision to choose MAID (medical assistance in dying) as her 8-year battle with ALS became too much for her body and spirit.
Even in her final days, Kris was thinking of others.
Her decision to choose MAID at the hospital allowed her to be an organ donor and also donate organs to ALS research.
Since her diagnosis with ALS, Kris and team KLee raised $100,000 for ALS Canada.

LAINSON, Donald - With some reluctant relief, and sadness, the Lainson and Briggs families would like anyone who knew Donald to know of his passing on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 at the age of 65 at Humber River Hospital.
Donald was born on December 12th, 1955 in Toronto, Ontario.
Don was married to his late and beloved wife, Eeva, for 10 years.
Anyone who knew Don knew he was born with a genetic disease called Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD). He was diagnosed in 1967 via a biopsy.
He was the youngest of 20 cousins.
He loved to remind them all of this fact.

MUNTEN, Thomas 'Tom' Michael - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Thomas (Tom) Michael Munten. Thomas passed away suddenly on August 25th, 2021 at the age of 70.
He will be forever missed by his daughters Stephanie and Amanda Munten, and his close circle of friends.
Thomas was predeceased by his mother Ingrid Munten (Baer) and his father Eckhardt Munten.

WELLINGTON, Donald Fitroy 'Donnie' - (December 19, 1938 – August 25, 2021) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Donald ‘Donnie’ Wellington.
Don is the youngest sibling of four and the only son of Daniel and Victoria Wellington. Donnie has now gone to join his beloved parents as well as dear departed sister Jean, and wife of 50 years Carmen.
Don is survived by beloved wife Jean, with whom he found unexpected love and companionship in his later years; sisters Fay Trotter and Joyce Williams; children Ingrid (Derek), Gavin (Carolyn), Craig, and Wendy; grandchildren Rene, Xana, Jordan, Declan, Brandon (Nadia), Cameron, Sydney, Michael, Isabel; and great-grandchildren Lové, and Allyna, with another great grand-child on the way.
Dad also cherished his relationships with step-children Kathy (Tammy), Martin (Siobhan), Peter (Maricel), and Dev (Darren).

SOLOMON, Edwin Rudolph - It is with profound sadness that the family of Edwin Rudolph Solomon shares his passing on Wednesday August 25th, 2021. He was 83 years of age.
Edwin was born in Cape Town, South Africa on January 11, 1938 and immigrated with his family to Canada in 1974.
He was a devoted husband to Laura Solomon (nee Pearce), father to his children Donovan Solomon (Debra Solomon) and Tracy Solomon (Jonathan Link), and grandfather to Xavier Awadalla, and was much loved by family and friends in Canada and overseas.

EDNEY, Violet 'Vicki' Jane - Violet (Vicki) Jane Edney left this world peacefully on August 25, 2021 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in her 95th year, surrounded by her family and love, after suffering a stroke 2 weeks previously.
She will be sorely missed by her four children, William (Carol), Robert (Carol), Brian (Margaret) and Barbara (Mark) Mulrenin.
Mom was born in Sudbury on December 11, 1926 to Joe and Jessie (Witty) Currie, the third of nine children. She was adopted at an early age by Melvin and Ada (Darker) Witty and spent her childhood on a farm near Woodbridge. She attended the University of Toronto and trained as a teacher.
She married William Doherty in 1952, divorced and then married Ronald Edney in 1982, both of whom have predeceased her.

Ralph will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 65 years Barbara.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Gordon, Gregory and Catherine (Al).
Proud grandfather of Lindsay, Christopher, Kaleigh, Connor, Emily, Olivia, Thomas, Kaitlin and Colin.
Cherished great grandfather of Aaron. Ralph was predeceased by his five siblings.
He met his bride at Northern Vocational high school in North Toronto, where he excelled at track and field, along with football.
It was here he was recruited during his last year, to work at a graphic arts company, Allworth Limited where he moved from warehouse worker to President of the company over his 30 year career.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather Charles Edward Fitzpatrick, in his home of almost 60 years, on August 25, 2021, at age 86.
Chuck was born in Toronto, Ontario, only child of the late Mabel (Hudson) and Edward Charles Fitzpatrick.
He was predeceased by his wife Carol Yvonne (Woodard) in 2011.
Charlie was well-respected within the golf industry.
He was a dedicated 44-year employee at Dunlop Sports/Sportlines International and after retirement, Executive Director of the Canadian Golf Industry Association.

ASHBY, Dr. John Gary Ashby - 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 25, 2021, at Cedarhurst Dementia Care Home.
Per his wishes, his body was donated to the University of Toronto School of Medicine for research.
Born in Toronto on May 24, 1938, to John Ashby and Audrey Freel, Gary graduated from North Toronto Collegiate and received a Medical Degree in Neurosurgery from the University of Toronto.
