HANDY, Marc Lyon Matthew - Marc Lyon Matthew Handy left this life on August 27, 2021 at his favourite time of day: sunset.
Over 76 years, his adventures took him from a childhood in Ottawa, formative years in Montreal, to raising his family in Mississauga, finally retiring in Milton after a fulfilling investment career.
Marc and Lynne met at Expo 67 in Montreal and married a year later in Australia.
They grew together, dancing, travelling, raising two sons Matt (Stacey) and Ben (Kate), and three grandchildren, Rachel, Evelyn and Samantha.

WATT, L. James, M.A., M.Ed., - 1949 - 2021 Unexpectedly after a brief hospitalization for complications from a new cancer, James Watt died on August 27, 2021.
As a loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend, he was a kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and interesting person who will be sorely missed by all.
He is survived by his siblings, Dr. Judy Watt-Watson, Robert Watt, and John Watt, his brother-in-law, Dr. Peter Watson, and his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Rev. Dr. J. Robert and Verna Watt.
James had a thirsty intellect and was sensitive to the needs of others. He enjoyed learning about differing cultures, and his empathy and support for people dealing with everyday challenges informed his community involvement.

Sue attended Branksome Hall in Toronto, followed by a brief stint at Elmwood School in Ottawa. She went to finishing school at Brillamont in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Her favourite subject was alpine skiing; decorum came a close second.

BAIN, Raymond - 1933 – 2021 We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2021, Raymond Bain, age 87, passed away at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Raymond was born in Liverpool, England, and after 7 years of employment as a Dictograph telephone installer, including 3 years of peacetime National Service in the Royal Signals, he immigrated to Canada in 1957 in search of his fortune.
In 1964, he married Barbara, his beloved wife of 57 years who predeceased him by 11 days, and in 1965 they welcomed their son David who survives them.
Over the next 35 years, Ray built a very successful career in commercial real estate with A.E. Lepage (which later became Royal Lepage), and then gradually transitioned into a retirement full of the activities he and Barbara enjoyed: Travel, tennis, the Rolls Royce club, and special moments spent at their cottage in Thunder Beach on Georgian Bay.
