BOOK, Mary Ethel (nee Stamp) - Peacefully, passed away in Burlington on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in her 83rd year.
Beloved daughter of the late William Stamp and Dorothy (nee Cockfield). Sister to Robert Stamp (Joan).
Dedicated mother to Dr. Ronald W. (Nancy), Richard J., Robert D. (Sean).
Grandmother to Evan, Drew, Jack, Shae, William, Lainey, Matthew and Sarah. Aunt to Shannon and Eric. Great aunt to Jacob, Connor, Kieran and Jonah. Best friends to Marilyn and Honey.
Mary was an avid gardener and birdwatcher and, in the past, active in the PC party of Ontario and the PWP where she was the international Secretary (1970/71).
Special Thanks to the excellent nursing care at Joseph Brant and to Dr. Naidoo and Dr. Garland.
Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, Burlington on Monday, December 10th from 7-9pm. A Graveside Interment Service will be held for immediate family and close friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
