Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on Monday, December 10, 2018, in her 91st year.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late Wilmot Gates (2011).
Dear mother of Allen and his wife Phyllis of Unionville, James and his wife Deborah of Brampton and Paul and his wife Janice of Port Perry.
Lovingly remembered by Joan's brother Bill and his wife Gail Jones of Mississauga.
Loving grandmother of Jody (Allan), Stephannie (Colin), Sheena (Alistair), Katrina (Adam) and Devin (Madison).
Lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew.
The family of Joan Gates will receive friends at Jardine Funeral Centre, on Saturday, December 29th from 1 p.m. until time of her "Celebration of Life" at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at Fenelon Falls United Church. Interment will take place later in Pickering.
