COJOCARIU, Lucian - It is our greatest sadness to announce the passing of Lucian Cojocariu on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 85.
Lucian is survived by his wife, Eugenia, his two children, Anka and Mugur, and his two grandchildren Stephanie and Jacqueline and their mom Dora.
He passed surrounded by his loving family. He spent his first years in Romania, where his family got its roots.
He travelled to Canada to visit a friend and that it’s how he fell in love with the country and inspired his son to move to Canada.
He followed his son few years after with his wife, to be close to him and help his family. He will be greatly missed and remembered in every moment of our lives.
Friends will have time at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, on Friday Feb. 08 from 6-9 pm for visitation. A funeral mass will take place in the Chapel on Feb. 09 from 10:00 am. Interment to follow.
