BRENNAN, Peter - Passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the age of 84 years after a long illness.
Beloved husband of Helen Brennan (nee McGovern) for 56 years.
Loving father of Kathy (Ashod), John (Liz) and Kevin (Dorothy) and Susan (predeceased).
Wonderful Papa to David Brennan, Caitlin Brennan and Brandon Yerevanian.
He arrived from Ireland in 1957 on an adventure to build a new life in Canada, and was able to raise his family and see them succeed. He made many friends over the years and was always admired for his kindness and sense of humour. He will be sorely missed.
Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, Toronto on Sunday from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Parish, 3674 Lakeshore Blvd. W. Toronto on Monday at 10 am, followed by a reception and then a procession to the Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
