FERNANDEZ, Rolando M. - Known by many as Rolly, had a peaceful transition surrounded by his family on November 4, 2020.
Rolando was born in Manila, Philippines to Jaime Fernandez Sr of Masbate and Marietta Medina of Taal, Batangas.
He leaves behind his wife Aurora, daughters Angel and Athena, sons Ritchie and Reggie, son-in-law Raul, daughter-in-law Melissa, granddaughter Louise, and grandsons EJ and Ethan.
Rolando was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved to play chess, bowling, tennis and golf. He also loved watching sports especially the Toronto Raptors, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Miami Dolphins.
He had a zest for life and was always the entertainer with his golden voice.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.
Arrangements Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham. The service will take place at Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 265 Alton Towers Road, Scarborough on Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at 10:00am
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to either Prince of Peace Parish in Scarborough or to Art Relief Mobile Kitchen Inc Philippines (ARMK).
