Lytle ChristinaLYTLE, Christina Lois - (February 10, 1933 - November 20, 2020)

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of Christina Lois Lytle of Toronto on November 20, 2020 due to complications of pneumonia.

Much loved wife of John for 63 years and dearest loving mom to Mark, Scott & Janet (Peter). Christina's 6 grandchildren were her pride and joy, Alyssa (CJ), Kalene, Samantha, Matthew, Ethan and Joshua.  She was also blessed with 2 beautiful great grandchildren Ava and Aubree.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Still and her siblings John, David and Elva.

Christina was very close to her family and cherished the time she spent with them.  She had so much  love to give that they were foster parents to many babies with the Catholic Children's Aid Society and then she continued to care for children in daycare for several years.

Christina lived a modest, meaningful life and touched so many lives along the way. She could never get enough of spending time with her children and enjoying the many family events.  Over the years she enjoyed the close friendships she made at the Legion playing darts, attending dances, picnics and Christmas parties.  Her hobbies and passions included gardening, ceramics, crocheting & sewing in her early years, being lucky at bingo and mastering Candy Crush.

She loved her flowers, especially her special perennial and rose gardens.  She was also a great cook and her delicious recipes will be cherished and passed on for generations to come.  She had many fond memories of her time spent at the trailer and the close friendships she made over the years.

She will be remembered as being one of the luckiest people in her circle of friends and family when she repeatedly won at her scratch cards, bingo, football and lottery pools.  Ultimately we were the lucky ones to have had the opportunity to know and love her.  She set the bar on how to be decent and kind to everyone.  She will be so missed by everyone who knew her.

Regrettably a large gathering of her friends and family is not possible in this time of Covid-19 restrictions.  We ask that all of her friends and family take a few moments and think of her and the many ways she has touched their lives. We look forward to a Celebration of Life when we can once again gather together. Arrangements with Ogden funeral home.
