SEATH, Jeanne Lucille (nee MELBOURNE)   -  Passed away peacefully at home, as was her wish, surrounded by family, on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at the age of 92.

Born May 28, 1928 in Toronto.

Dearly loved and cherished mother of Brian (Aida), Shannon (Walter) and Susan.

Absolutely adored grandmother of AJ, Tristan, Derek, Rhiannon, Emily and Gabriel.

Special aunt to Katie, Stephen and Gord Evans.

Jeanne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charlie, in 2015, and her big brother, Ray, in 2014.

Jeanne possessed an enviable sense of humour and could laugh out loud equally at the circumstance or herself.

Breezing through a quadruple heart by-pass surgery at the sunny age of 84, Jeanne continued to be a force until the very end, including a European vacation at the age 90 and snow tubing with the whole family just last winter at the age of 91.

Nothing was going to stop her when her mind was made up. Her sense of family was paramount and mom/grandma was always there for us all as consistently and reliably as the sun rising and setting each and every day.

Safe and happy travels with your sweetheart, Charlie, once again Jeanne/mom/grandma.

A celebration of life, followed by a private interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southlake Regional Cardiac Care Program, give.southlake.ca.
