de Infranco MichelinaPOZZOLUNGO de INFRANCO, Michelina 'Lina' - It is with broken hearts we honour the life and legacy of Michelina Pozzolungo de Infranco, who died peacefully January 15th, 2021 in Caracas, Venezuela.

Born in Giovinazzo, Italy, to Agostino and Anna Pozzolungo, “Lina” immigrated to Venezuela in 1962 to be reunited with her father and brother.

After meeting her true love Giuseppe in 1962, they married in 1963 and went on to raise three beautiful sons.

Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe and loving mother to the late Pasquale, Agustin in Caracas and Alberto (Kevin) in Toronto. Proud grandmother of Arianna in Madrid.

Beloved sister to Antonietta in Italy and predeceased by four loving brothers: Diomina, Giuseppe, Nicola and Giovanni.

Lina dedicated her life to family and creating a home filled with joy, laughter and compassion. Loved ones were always welcome at her table and inside her kitchen where Lina shared her passion for cooking, travelling and storytelling. Lina helped her family grow and expand their Pastas Gaetano factory.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Lina loved and valued her family above all else. Lina will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Lina’s absence is felt around the world by cousins, nieces and nephews in Venezuela, Italy, Spain, Peru, the US and Canada.

A special thank you to the nuns and caregivers at Villa Pompeii Nursing Home. Your love and kindness always strengthened Lina and offered peace of mind to our family.

Arrangements entrusted with Ridley funeral home, Etobicoke, Ontario. A memorial service was held in Caracas January 17th. Friends and family gathered to celebrate the life and love of Mamma Lina.

Safe passage, Mamma. We love you forever.
