FARRELL, JR., Albert Edward   - It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of our father Albert at Michael Garron Hospital in his 81st year on Thursday, January 14, 2021, surrounded by family love.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Gail Viola Farrell (nee Armstrong).

Proud father of his four girls: Deanna, Jennifer (Rob), Hilary (Rob) and Cynthia (Mike).

Devoted and much-loved grandfather to Adam (Erika and Dustin), Olivia, Tess, Madeline, Victoria, Alexander, Julia, William, Isabel, Nathaniel, and Kathryn, Owen and Aaron. Strong, loving, funny, kind, resilient, stubborn and determined, Al lead a full and rich life until his final days.

He had a long career at Toronto Hydro starting as an overhead linesman in 1966 and working his way up to Superintendent before his retirement in 1994.

Al and Gail enjoyed a very long and happy retirement together, moving from Toronto to their dream home in Oro Station on the shores of beautiful Lake Simcoe and wintering at Citrus Park in Florida.

They were always together, and Al saw his incredible wife through two battles with cancer, commitment and love like theirs should be cherished.

Our family appreciates the kindness and professionalism of the nursing staff on B5 and Drs. Hillmer and Stanley at Michael Garron Hospital. We will gather for a celebration of his life when COVID permits.

If friends and family so wish, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Michael Garron Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
