CERNIGLIARO, Francesco “Frank” - (1953 - 2021) - Francesco “Frank” Cernigliaro passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 18, 2021, with his husband David by his side.
Frank will be deeply missed by his loving husband David Turner, his beloved best friend Mary “Mandy” Nammour.
Dear son of Coradina and the late Giuseppe Cernigliaro, brother of Tom and Vince, Uncle to Tommy, Stephanie and her husband Michael D’Amico and the late Joey.
Frank spent 51 years with Michael Kluthe Salon, beginning his career in November of 1969.
Frank began to learn his craft under the tutelage of Michael, working as his hair styling assistant. It didn’t take very long for Michael to realize that Frank was destined to be a very special type of talent. Over the years Frank rose to his final role as the salon’s Artistic Director and he developed a vast and loyal client base with many of those clients continuing to see Frank for 40+ years.
Although Frank was an immensely talented stylist, one client described him as Michelangelo with scissors, he was more than that to his clients. To them he was a friend, an advisor and a confidant. Throughout his career with the salon, Frank was a true professional with a special ability to relate to his clients and his coworkers.
He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, many clients and the team at Michael Kluthe Salon.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home – West Toronto Chapel. Interment to take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.

Due to COVID19 pandemic restrictions, the funeral and burial will be by invitation only. This is under the direction of the Public Health and the Provincial Government of Ontario. We must ensure the safety of the family and the funeral home staff involved. Those who cannot attend are welcome to view the visitation and funeral service which will be livestreamed online.
