Levine Novick GailLEVINE-NOVICK, Gail Ruth - (30 March, 194028 February, 2021)

Gail Levine-Novick, born in Hamilton, Ontario on March 30, 1940. Gail was predeceased by her parents, Archie Levine and Leah Levine (Levy), and her brother Irving.

Our deepest condolences to her children, Ari Novick (Carolyn), Mitchell Novick (Ilana) and Julie Ottoborgo (Walter). Cherished Grammie to seven grandchildren: Max, Kate, Jake, Daniel, Benjamin, Matthew and Sarah.

Loving sister to Michael (Elaine) Levine and her nieces and nephew Lauren (Daniel), Zachariah and Shari.

Married in her early 20's she began her full time career, at which she excelled, as Mom. Her three greatest passions were her children, Ari (Carolyn), Mitchell (Ilana) and Julie (Walter). Grammie Gail's life then blossomed to seven grandchildren: Max, Kate, Jake, Daniel, Benjamin, Matthew and Sarah. Equally loved were Gail's five grand-dogs, Homer J. (deceased), Jazz and Cash, Odie and Bella.

Another love of her life was her brother Michael, his wife/her sister (from another mother), Elaine and her nieces and nephew Lauren (Daniel) , Zachariah and Shari.

Gail had impeccable taste. Whether as a decorator, cook and baker or as a volunteer at Tennis Canada, Gail always gave 100% and then some.

An avid bowler she coached her kids in their youth. She enjoyed music, dancing, movies and a good laugh. Whether it was a delicious Blondie or slice of mandlebread or maybe a smile or a 100 lb bear hug, you felt Gail's love. Gail was truly one of a kind and lived life to its fullest in her own unique way.

Thank you Dr. Stella Arbitman, Dr. Patricia Rennie and the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital and North York General Hospital for their patience, care and compassion.

Gail passed on Sunday, February 28, 2021 in Toronto, Ontario surrounded by the love of her children.

Private family services and shiva. Arrangements entrusted with Kane-Jerrett funeral home.

In Gail's honour and memory, and in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the charity of your choice.

May God comfort Gail's family among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
