Mendoza RosaMENDOZA, Rosa Galura - (September 20, 1930 - March 4, 2021) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rosa on March 4th, 2021.

Rosa is a mother, a mother-in law, a grandmother, and a great grandmother but most of is all is fondly called our "Ima" and our "Lola." These very words conjure nothing but warmth, security, kindness, strength, generosity and unconditional love.

She is a creature of habit and often eats the same meal everyday (oatmeal for breakfast, tinola for dinner), watches her favourite TV shows (General Hospital, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy) and goes to sleep late but wakes up really early in the morning.

She is a devout, loyal Catholic who was a part of a church choir and taught religion in the Philippines. She taught us to go to church every Sunday, to pray the rosary everyday, and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. She is a person who always put her family and God first.

Her children, Aurora, Bess, Emiterio Jr., Carmen, Dan, Fernando, Gerry, Alegria, and Aris, and her grandchildren, Darrel, Harvey, Stephanie, Megan, Richelle, Dianne, Maryanne, Allison, John Paulo, Bianca, Charmaine, Angelica, CJ, Renz, and Richard and her great-grandchildren, Rosaliya, Lorraine, and Reina Luna miss her dearly.

She was not one to complain even when her bones ached with arthritis and in pain, she continued to be independent right to the end.

She will now be reunited with her loving husband Emeterio, her son she missed dearly Alvin, and her parents, siblings, relatives and friends in heaven.

A Private Graveside Service will be held. Those who wish to attend the service via live-stream March 9th are welcome to do so. Arrangements entrusted with Newediuk funeral home.
