MARZALIK, Theresa Marie   -  It is with great sadness that our family would like to announce that Theresa Marie Marzalik passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 98.

Theresa was born on May 7, 1922 in Toronto (the eldest of six children to Walter and Mary Marzalik), where she resided for her entire life.

She attended Loretto College in Toronto and upon graduation began a lengthy and satisfying career with Imperial Oil.

Theresa enjoyed good health her entire life and pursued many interests, including travel, curling, reading, the theatre and spending time with family and friends.

Theresa spent the last 11 years of her life at Revera Forest Hill where she soon became a favorite resident of the many staff who looked after her.

She is survived by her brother Bernard Marzalik and predeceased by her other siblings, John Marzalik, Joseph Marzalik, Mary Hoganson and Celia Donohoe.

Special thanks go to the staff at Revera Forest Hill and to her two final caregivers Beth and Sally.

In addition, special thanks to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, Dr. Mark Bernstein and nurse Michelle, who provided wonderful support and care for Theresa in the last few months of her life.

A funeral service will be held at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, Toronto, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow.

She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

May she rest in peace.
