GORJUP, Yolanda - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Yolanda Gorjup in her sleep at Dom Lipa on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the age of 93.
Now reunited with her late husband Joseph Gorjup, mother Cristina Lipicar and other predeceased family members.
Beloved mother to Carla (Steven) and Boris, and loving grandmother of Robert (Nicollette) and David.
Yolanda made family the focus in her life, a loving person who enjoyed a talent for home cooking and making tasty baked treats for her family. If you wanted to be in her kitchen you had to follow her rules - keep things clean and organized - unless it was her grandchildren, who adored her, and who she doted over and spoiled whenever she had the chance.
She enjoyed time spent sewing, reading the Dear Abby and horoscope columns and playing Bingo scratch cards. In quieter moments she enjoyed time spent tending to her gardening or watching television talk shows, particularly Johnny Carson and Jay Leno. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by friends and family.
