Loberg BryanLOBERG, Bryan Edwin - (October 7, 1964 - March 14, 2021) - It is with unbelievable sadness that we announce the death of Bryan Loberg, peacefully at his home in Toronto following complications from neuropathy.

He is survived by his parents Norm and Carol Loberg, sister Liz Burns (Steve), niece Hailey and nephew Jake.

Loving Aunts Ann Hilborn (Jim) and Lynda Loberg, Cousins Mike Hilborn (Anissa), Chris Hilborn (Eve)and nieces and nephews Elia, Luca, Adam and Mac.

Bryan grew up in Lorne Park and attended Lorne Park High School and gathered a wonderful group of friends. After graduation he lived in Vancouver, attended UBC before starting and operating a flower shop called “The Botanically Hip." He spent a lot of time working in the Caribbean with “Go Vacations” then finally settled in Toronto.

His love of travel took him all over the world, most notably he travelled to Japan as a Wandaa volunteer to assist following the tsunami in Fukushima. Bryan saw much of Europe travelling with friends and family. A highlight was a visit with his Dad to the Vimy Memorial followed by 70th Anniversary D-Day celebrations at Juno Beach in Normandy in 2014.

Bryan was passionate about the Tragically Hip, Formula One, and as everyone knows the Cleveland Browns.

As the number one Browns fan in Canada, Bryan founded the Toronto Browns Backers better known as the Dawg Pound North fan club, which now has over 700 members. Game days were always special with a full house assembled at Shoxs on the Dundas to watch the game and cheer on the Browns. If the truth be known, it was almost more of a social gathering where all could mingle, relax and chat with friends from all walks of life.

Bryan was loved by all, so caring, and he was always happy to hear about everyone and everything, naturally curious and kind in every way.

Bryan always had a story to tell and writing was a talent that came to him naturally. The world is a better place because of Bryan and now heaven is a better place with his presence.

Paraphrasing the late Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip - “When you dance, I’ll be on your shoulder and you’ll feel it”

Rest in peace dear Bryan.

A Celebration of Life will be held when conditions allow. Arrangements entrusted with Skinner and Middlebrook funeral home, Mississauga. If you wish, contributions in Bryan’s name can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
