DUNCAN, Joan Beverly (nee AYLWARD) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful beloved mother on March 17, 2021.
Born and raised in Toronto, the city she loved.
Mom was predeceased by her mother Thelma and father Albert, as well as her two brothers, Ken and Ross Aylward. Joan was a devoted mother to daughter Ann Elizabeth and son James Norman.
Grandmother to Victoria, Danielle, Laura and Nicole, and six great-grandchildren.
Aunt to Glen Aylward. Mom spent many years at Cluett Peabody, maker of Arrow shirts. Very involved with the Metropolitan United Church, giving her time to the Out of the Cold Program.
A kind, thoughtful and generous soul, she will be missed by so many of her dear friends.
Mom is at peace now with the Lord and so many of her loved ones that have gone before her.
A rich long life of 94 years, lived to the fullest with love and laughter. Our hearts are heavy, but we will love you forever Mom.
There will be no memorial service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
